Anyone peddling, hawking, bartering or auctioneering door to door in unincorporated Grant County needs a license from the county treasurer under GCC 5.02.020. The license fee is thirty dollars, and peddlers must additionally post a five-hundred-dollar special deposit before the county issues the permit, per GCC 5.02.030 and 5.02.040.
