Density Bonus Law
Greenville County awards developers a zoning density bonus for preserving trees beyond the minimum required credit. A developer who exceeds the required tree density unit credit by 10% or more can earn a 2% density bonus for each additional 10% overage, capped at a 10% total bonus, plus expedited permitting under County Code Article IV.
