Crypto Mining Rules

Cryptocurrency mining is a permitted primary use only in the MH Heavy Industrial Zoning District under UDO Section 8:1.19(A)(3), added by Ordinance 10-10-24-01 in October 2024. Every other unincorporated zoning district in Johnson County, including agricultural and light industrial land, remains closed to the use.
