In unincorporated Lancaster County, an abandoned or derelict motor vehicle cannot sit on a public street or thoroughfare longer than 48 hours, or on private property longer than 7 days unless screened under Sec. 21-3(d). The County Zoning Official and Sheriff's Office tag and remove violating vehicles under Chapter 21.
