In Montgomery County outside Blacksburg and Christiansburg, streets built inside a PUD-TND development must include bicycle routes, lanes or paths, and any separate bicycle lane must be at least four feet wide.

Pedestrian and/or bicycle routes, lanes, or paths shall be provided to connect all uses and reduce motor vehicle use. Street design shall provide for the safety of pedestrians and bicyclists. Separate bicycle lanes shall be a minimum of four (4) feet in width.
