Bar & Nightclub Noise
In Montgomery County outside Blacksburg and Christiansburg, Code Sec. 7-78 lets a bar, club or other place of public entertainment run sound at 90 dB(A) or higher only if it posts a conspicuous warning sign near every entrance stating that the sound environment inside may cause hearing impairment. Running a loudspeaker above that level without the sign is unlawful.
