New Castle County bans loading and unloading noise between 10:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. in residential districts. County Code § 22.02.008(B)(2)(e) makes it unlawful to load, unload, open, or otherwise handle boxes, crates, or containers overnight if doing so creates a noise disturbance, with no exception except a genuine emergency.
