Fireworks

On Queen Anne's County, Maryland park property, no person can possess and discharge fireworks or other explosive pyrotechnics without the expressed written permission of the Director of Parks and Recreation. A violation is a Class b offense, which carries a minimum $250 fine and a suspension of four months to one year.

§ 22-19. General conduct and personal behavior. ... C. Fireworks and explosives. No person may possess and discharge any fireworks or other explosive pyrotechnics on park property without the expressed written permission of the Director (Class b offense).

In unincorporated Queen Anne's County, § 15-11 F(2) requires every housing unit covered by the housing chapter to have at least one single-station smoke detector in the vicinity of each sleeping area, installed and maintained under Maryland's Article 38A, § 12A.
