In unincorporated Queen Anne's County, § 15-6 of the County Code requires residential premises to be free from infestation of insects, rodents, vermin or other pests, and § 15-12 assigns extermination between owner and tenant. Owners of multi-unit buildings exterminate in most cases, and a rodent-infested structure can be declared unfit for occupancy.
