Within the Laguna County Sanitation District's service area, County Code makes it district policy that recycled water be used wherever it is available in place of potable water for nonpotable uses. Sec. 29-39 lets the district identify parcels that must switch to recycled water and set a compliance schedule, following California Water Code Sections 13550 and 13551.
