Light Restrictions

Solano County Code Sec. 3-402

3-402 Loitering prohibited No person may delay, linger or idle about any public parking lot or facility without lawful business for being present. Every person who violates this section shall be guilty of an infraction.

Outdoor Smoking Restrictions

Smoking is banned in any area of a Solano County park that the parks division has posted as non-smoking under Section 19-190. Section 19-160(g) makes lighting up tobacco or any other substance in a posted no-smoking zone, from picnic tables to trails to campsites, an infraction enforced by park rangers and the sheriff.

Public Alcohol Use

Drinking alcohol on a public street, sidewalk, or any place open to the public in unincorporated Solano County is a misdemeanor punishable by up to $1,000 and six months in jail, while carrying an open, unsealed container in those places is a separate infraction with a $250 cap. Beaches and parks are excluded from the drinking ban.
