Solano County's Local Disease Prevention Demonstration Project let participating pharmacies sell up to 10 hypodermic needles or syringes without a prescription and required them to hand out safe-disposal information, but Section 13.1-50 sunset the whole chapter on December 31, 2010, so the pharmacy-sales exemption in Sections 13.1-10 and 13.1-20 is no longer in force.
