St. Johns County prohibits Medical Marijuana Treatment Center Dispensing Facilities in every zoning district, including PUDs, PSDs and PRDs, under the local opt-out authority Florida gave counties in Section 381.986(11)(b)(1), Florida Statutes. Section 2.04.08 of the Land Development Code makes it unlawful to establish or operate a dispensary anywhere in unincorporated St. Johns County, though cultivation and processing facilities and home delivery remain allowed.
