Public Marijuana Use
St. Louis County makes it a petty misdemeanor to use cannabis flower, cannabis products, lower-potency hemp edibles, or hemp-derived consumer products in any public place, including public parks, restaurants, bars, retail stores, and common areas of apartment buildings. The ban applies only in the unincorporated county and townships where the county holds planning and zoning authority; Duluth, Hibbing, Virginia, and Eveleth enforce their own rules.
