Solicitor Permits
Vanderburgh County requires a Sheriff-issued Event Permit before anyone solicits on a public street or highway, but only registered charitable organizations qualify. For-profit peddlers, canvassers and door-to-door commercial solicitors are ineligible for this permit and have no separate county permit path for house-to-house sales.
