Solicitor Permits
In unincorporated Vermilion Parish, Louisiana, an itinerant or door-to-door vendor needs a Police Jury permit before selling or taking orders for goods without an invitation from the resident. Sales are limited to 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., and each sale counts as a separate offense.
