Solicitor Permits
Anyone who peddles goods or solicits orders door-to-door in unincorporated Washoe County needs a business license before starting, cannot work between 9:00 p.m. and 9:00 a.m. unless invited, and must honor posted "No Solicitors" and "No Trespassing" signs. The License Division can also require a $1,000 bond to cover fraud claims.
