York County keeps an official Historical and Architectural Inventory of significant sites, structures and landmarks, maintained by the York County Culture and Heritage Commission under Code § 155.187. Any lot listed on it needs zoning compliance approval before renovation, relocation or demolition, and demolishing a listed structure can be delayed up to 365 days.
