In unincorporated Chelan County, anyone under 18 who isn't with a parent, guardian or responsible adult may not be on the streets, in public buildings or places of amusement, or on public highways after 10:00 p.m. Parents who knowingly let a minor stay out past 10:30 p.m. are also violating the ordinance.
Every person who—being under the age of eighteen years, and not being accompanied by a parent, guardian, or a person over the age of eighteen years, and having a legal charge of such person, who shall remain on the streets, alleys, or in any public place or building of amusement or entertainment or upon any public highways, unoccupied premises or grounds in the county of Chelan after the hours of ten p.m.; or being the parent, guardian, or other person having legal charge of any person under the age of eighteen years, shall knowingly permit such person to be upon the streets, alleys, or in any public building or place of amusement or entertainment or upon any public highways, unoccupied premises or grounds in the county of Chelan, after the hour of ten-thirty p.m. unless said minor person has been sent upon some proper or necessary errand by said parent, guardian, or other person having legal charge of such minor, shall be deemed guilty of a violation of this section;

Violations & Fines
Violating the curfew is punishable under § 7.04.020 by a fine of not less than one dollar nor more than twenty-five dollars, or by imprisonment in the county jail for up to thirty days, or both. An arresting deputy may instead release a minor directly to a parent or guardian who promises to produce the minor to answer the charge when required, rather than booking the minor into custody.
