Davis County Code section 9.08.010 bars anyone under sixteen from being on a public street, park, square or public place between 11 p.m. and daylight, unless with a parent or guardian or traveling to or from a job. It is unlawful for any minor under the age of sixteen (16) years to be in or on any public street, park, square or any public place between the hours of eleven p.m. and daylight immediately following, except where the minor is accompanied by a parent, legal guardian or other adult person having the legal care and custody of the minor or where the presence of the minor in the place or places is connected with or required by some legitimate trade, business, profession or occupation by reason of employment, inclusive of time necessary for going to and returning from such place of business in which the minor is engaged. Any parent, legal guardian or other adult assisting, aiding, abetting, permitting or encouraging any minor under the age of sixteen (16) years to violate the foregoing provisions of this chapter shall be guilty of a misdemeanor.
