Denver, CO Curfew Laws: Juvenile Curfew (2026)

Denver Revised Municipal Code § 34-61 sets curfew hours as 11:00 p.m. Sunday through Thursday until 5:00 a.m. the next day, and 12:01 a.m. until 5:00 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday. During those hours a minor (under 18) may not be in any public place or on the premises of any establishment unless accompanied by a parent or guardian, in the custody of an adult with the parent's written consent, in a vehicle on interstate travel, or going to/from/at work. A parent or guardian who knowingly permits or fails to control a minor's violation is also liable. Section 34-62 lists affirmative defenses including emergencies, being on the sidewalk at home, and supervised school, religious, or city-sponsored activities.
