Every public park and playground in the Village of Ashwaubenon closes nightly from 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. under Municipal Code Section 15-2-25. (A) Presence prohibited when closed. All public parks and public playgrounds in the village shall be closed from 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. No person shall be within the village parks between these hours except for wounded or dead deer or turkey retrieval or the following exemption. (B) Exemption. The village parks, recreation and forestry director may grant permission to any group wishing to use a public park or public playground during closed hours beyond 10:00 p.m. Permission shall be given in writing and shall contain the name of the group, the name of a responsible person in charge of the group and the date for which permission to use the specific public park or public playground beyond the closed hours is granted. The village parks, recreation and forestry director may extend closing hours for activities sponsored by the parks, recreation and forestry department.
