Ashwaubenon, WI Parking Rules: Commercial & Oversized Vehicles (2026)

Section 7-4-109(A) lists seven categories of vehicles and equipment that may not stop, stand or be stored in a platted residential district, on a nonheavy traffic route, or anywhere posted 'No Truck Parking': any licensed motor vehicle over 10,000 pounds (unless it meets the trailer definition at § 7-4-148), auto-salvage wreckers, licensed trailers, semitrailers, semitractors, any vehicle requiring an apportioned license, and off-road construction equipment such as scrapers, backhoes, motor graders, compactors, excavators, tractors, trenchers and bulldozers. The only carve-out is temporary presence while actually unloading, loading, rendering a service, or working an active construction site, and the code is explicit that 'loading or unloading' does not cover picking up or dropping off personal property or running personal errands, closing the workaround of parking a rig at a house to unload groceries.

The rule keeps semis, wreckers and heavy equipment out of Ashwaubenon's residential streets rather than banning every oversized vehicle village-wide; posted 'No Truck Parking' signs extend the same ban onto specific nonresidential streets the Village designates. 00 after a second notice, plus court costs if it goes to municipal court.
