Twin Falls County, ID Curfew Laws: Park Curfew (2026)

Twin Falls County Code section 5-7-2 gives the county parks and recreation director, not a fixed ordinance schedule, control over county park facilities. Under subsection E, the director may regulate the hours of public usage at any county park facility with the Board of County Commissioners' approval, and may separately regulate vehicle speed with the county sheriff's approval, and post caution or parking-restriction signs as needed. Subsection D requires that regulations and capacities for each park facility be posted at the facility, and states that an illegible or vandalized sign does not make the underlying rule unenforceable; anyone wanting a variance from posted regulations, or appealing one of the director's decisions, takes that request to the county commission at the courthouse in Twin Falls.

The same section also governs group events: no admission fee may be charged for a county park event, groups exceeding posted capacity need a designated local sponsor and, at the board's discretion, a bond, and attendance may never exceed the posted capacity by more than 100 percent. 00 infraction plus court costs and towing applies specifically to posted parking violations.
