Converse Municipal Code limits fences in residential zoning districts to 4 feet in front yards (from the front building line to the street) and 6 feet in side and rear yards, with 8 feet permitted in rear yards abutting commercial or industrial property. Corner lots must maintain a sight-visibility triangle of approximately 25 feet at intersection corners where fences cannot exceed 3 feet to preserve driver visibility. Commercial and industrial fences up to 8 feet are by-right; taller fences and barbed or razor wire require a building permit and zoning review.
