Cloth, fabric, mesh, or canvas on chain link fences must be properly maintained. Pool barriers may be screened patio, wood, wire, rock wall, or concrete block per Section 33-12. Concrete block is the most common fencing material in South Florida.
Non-HVHZ compliant materials must be replaced. Unmaintained fabric on fences is a code violation.
