18(4)(b), the Campfires and Firewood Regulations for campgrounds on Oneida County Forest land, opens with an invasive-species control measure barring firewood brought in from outside Oneida County, then at paragraph 3 states the core rule: no person shall start, tend or maintain any fire except for cooking or heating, and then only in a designated fireplace, fire-ring or grill. Paragraph 2 lets registered campers gather dead and down wood inside the campground itself for that fire, but bars taking limbs, branches or bark from standing trees or felling any tree.

Paragraph 5, grouped with paragraph 3 on the County's own violation schedule, separately requires that any fire be fully extinguished before it is left, with matches, cigarettes and embers put out in a proper receptacle. Paragraph 6 lets the Forestry Department post further fire restrictions during periods of elevated fire danger. This is a campground-specific rule under Chapter 14, not a general private-property burning ordinance; outdoor burning on land the County does not own is governed by the Town, the Wisconsin DNR's burning-permit program, or the fire department having jurisdiction, none of which this section reaches. 04(4)(a)2.
