Sec. 040 requires the license application to include the applicant's Kansas sales tax number, the vehicle's VIN, proof of a valid driver's license, and a certificate of general liability insurance with minimum limits of $500,000 per occurrence and $1,000,000 aggregate from a Kansas-licensed carrier. Applicants must also certify they have run a sex-offender background check on anyone who will work on the unit and submit a fire/building inspection report from the Fire Code Official, the Metropolitan Area Building and Construction Department, or the Central Kansas Fire Marshal Mobile Food Coalition, completed within 30 days of applying.
