Coral Gables, FL Food Trucks & Mobile Vendors: Sidewalk & Mobile Vending (2026)

Coral Gables prohibits parking a vehicle on any road, street, or public right-of-way -- including the sidewalk and swale -- for the purpose of selling merchandise from it, unless the sale happens in a duly established marketplace or is otherwise authorized or licensed under the Code. The same section also bars using a parked vehicle on the right-of-way to display it for sale, grease or repair it, display advertising, or store it for more than 24 hours. This closes off informal curbside and sidewalk vending from cars, trucks, or trailers that hasn't gone through the city's licensing process.
