Chapter 173's Peddling Vehicles article tells food trucks and other mobile vendors exactly where they may set up. ' Section 173-33 layers on distance and time limits: a vehicle cannot stop, stand or remain within 50 feet of any intersection, in a congested area that impedes traffic, on a street with a speed limit over 30 miles per hour, at an accident or emergency scene, in one place for more than 10 minutes to solicit customers not already present, or in one place for more than 30 minutes, capped at one 30-minute stop per location in any 24-hour period.

Section 173-33 defines that 'place' as everything within a 500-foot radius of where the vehicle last stood. absent Town Clerk approval for good cause. A vehicle that breaks the § 173-30 tag rule, the § 173-28 license-production rule, or the § 173-33 standing limits can be temporarily seized by a peace officer or a Commissioner of Public Safety designee under § 173-34, with seized property subject to forfeiture under § 173-35 after notice and a judicial forfeiture hearing.
