Beyond location, the section limits how long a truck can sit still: a mobile food unit cannot remain in one location on private property for more than 96 consecutive hours unless the Town grants permission for a longer permitted event, and 'one location' includes moving between parked positions on the same parcel. On public streets, a unit is capped at six hours in any 24-hour period in a legal on-street or public parking space absent other posted limits, and 'occupy' is defined as staying within 100 feet of the original parking spot.

Units may use no more than two legal parking spaces without a separate Town agreement, may not face their serving window toward street traffic, and human-powered push carts and other units not meeting the Arizona Revised Statutes Section 28-101 definition of a vehicle cannot operate in the public right-of-way. Noise from mobile food units must stay within the Town's noise ordinance standards under Town Code Article 9-1-6.
