Chapter 94 of the West Palm Beach Code of Ordinances treats temporary yard and garage sales as Item 87 of the citywide permitted-use table (Table IX-1, Item 182 cross-reference) under Sec. 94-273, the section that lists extra requirements attached to specific uses. The additional application requirements for the use are stated as "None," meaning a resident does not file paperwork or pull a permit before setting up a sale table in the yard or driveway. The only binding standard is frequency and duration: no more than six sales are allowed at the same address during a calendar year, and no single sale can run longer than two days.

That works out to a hard annual cap regardless of how the six sales are spread across the year; back-to-back weekend sales still count individually toward the six-sale total. Because the rule sits in the supplemental-standards column of the use table rather than a stand-alone article, it applies uniformly wherever the permitted-use table allows the activity, which in practice covers the city's residential zoning districts. The planning and zoning administrator's office is the office of record for the underlying use table and fields complaints about zoning-code violations under Sec. 94-9.
