Permitted uses include consulting, tutoring, professional services, art studios, and online retail without in-person customer traffic. Prohibited uses include auto repair, kennels, medical/dental offices with patients, restaurants, and manufacturing. A Business Tax Receipt (BTR) from Boynton Beach Business Tax Division and Palm Beach County BTR are required. Home occupations cannot store commercial vehicles over 1 ton or hazardous materials on the property.
Operating without BTR: $250 citation plus BTR back-fees. Prohibited use: cease and desist, $500 repeat. Commercial vehicle parked overnight: $100 daily.
