Beaverton, OR Invasive Plant Rules: Prohibited Species (2026)

Beaverton's Development Code establishes a Resource Overlay over wetlands and significant fish and wildlife habitat, but Section 60.37.10 limits this specific set of Resource Overlay standards to properties within the Cooper Mountain Community Plan area. Inside that overlay, Section 60.37.20.F prohibits planting any vegetation listed as a nuisance or prohibited species on the city's approved plant lists: the City of Beaverton Tree List, Clean Water Services' Design and Construction Standards Appendix A, the Metro Native Plants booklet, and the Portland Plant List.
