Summary
Kenosha's bicycle code requires riders to control speed and avoid collisions while using a bicycle lane, and bicycles may ride two abreast within a single lane where traffic runs in the same direction across two or more lanes, including bike-lane-marked lanes. No person operating a bicycle shall ride at an unreasonable or imprudent rate of speed under the conditions and having regard for the actual and potential hazards then existing. Violations & Fines
A violation of the Section 7.14 bicycle regulations is punishable under Section 7.26.B by a forfeiture of not less than $1.00 nor more than $200.00 plus costs of prosecution, with County Jail confinement in default of payment not to exceed 90 days.
