(c) "Class 3 electric-assisted bicycle" means an electric-assisted bicycle equipped with a motor that provides assistance only when the rider is pedaling and that ceases to provide assistance when the bicycle reaches a speed of 28 miles per hour.
(43.1) "Holiday" means Sundays, New Year's Day, Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Veteran's Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day and such additional statutory holidays as the city adopts.
(48) "Local authorities," "Local government authorities" and "local road authorities," except as otherwise provided in this code, mean the city transportation engineering administrator.
