A violation of Chapter 5.67 is an infraction punishable by a citation with a minimum $100 fine under CVMC 1.20.010(B), or, at the City Manager's discretion, an administrative citation under CVMC 1.41.100 (CVMC 5.67.070(B)). Any resulting condition is also declared a public nuisance abatable by summary abatement, restraining order, or injunction, and the City may pursue monetary civil penalties (CVMC 5.67.070(C)). The City Engineer may deny, suspend, terminate, or revoke a Permit for false statements, failure to provide requested information, operating in a way that endangers public health or safety, or failing to comply with any permit term or law, with a written appeal to the City Manager due within five calendar days of the notice (CVMC 5.67.070(E)).
