Violations & Fines
A device found operating in a designated dismount zone, or otherwise out of compliance with its license, may be relocated, retrieved or impounded by the city (§ 5.57.060(A)-(B)). The company must reclaim an impounded device within 30 calendar days of notice or the city may sell, donate, recycle or dispose of it (§ 5.57.060(D)); all impoundment costs and fees are deducted from the company's required deposit, with any shortfall billed and subject to collection (§ 5.57.060(C)). Repeated noncompliance can trigger license modification, suspension or revocation under § 5.57.040(B)(13).
