Chapter 213's Outdoor Music Regulations specifically govern bars and nightclubs, since they only authorize outdoor amplified sound when it is an accessory use to a restaurant or bar that is itself a principal permitted use or an approved conditional use on the parcel. Section V-213-3(b) 3.05 limits that accessory outdoor music to five zoning districts, C1, C2, TC, MXD and MXD3 under Title XIII of the Municipal Code, and confines the hours to 9:00 a.m. through 11:00 p.m.; outdoor music at a bar outside those zones or those hours has no protection under this section and reverts to the general Disturbing Noise rules in § V-213-2 and § V-213-3(a).

Within the permitted hours and zones, § V-213-3(b) 3.06 caps the sound at 70 to 90 dB from the property line, tightening to 65 dB if the bar's parcel sits within 100 feet of an R1 or R2 district, so a nightclub near single-family housing carries a materially lower ceiling than one deeper in a commercial corridor.
