Under City Code section 9.28.040, unloading boxes, crates, containers or garbage containers from a delivery truck between 9:00 PM and 7:00 AM on weekdays and Saturdays, or between 9:00 PM and 9:00 AM on Sundays and legal holidays, is a violation if it exceeds the receiving zone's decibel limit or otherwise creates a noise disturbance. Daytime deliveries still must stay under the section 9.28.060 limits for the zone (50 dBA residential nighttime, 55 dBA daytime, up to 75-80 dBA industrial).
