Ypsilanti Township's ordinance similarly bars car stereos plainly audible 50 feet from the source, enforced by the Sheriff.
Ann Arbor vehicle-noise infractions carry fines up to $100; muffler-tampering can be a misdemeanor. Ypsilanti Township treats loud stereos as a misdemeanor up to $500 / 90 days.
