The county code does not adopt a comprehensive dark-sky lighting chapter, but glare-control language appears throughout Title 30. Similar shielding requirements apply to arena and outdoor-facility lighting, and design-standard sections such as SCC 30.34A.110 impose lighting controls in certain zones. There is no county-wide curfew or lumen cap for ordinary residential yard lights, but nuisance glare that spills onto neighbors can be addressed under these standards and nuisance provisions.
