Section 39-275(7)(a)1 limits residential properties to one commercial vehicle weighing 5,000 pounds or less. The vehicle must be parked in a garage, carport, or side/rear yard on a paved surface and completely hidden from view of all adjacent properties. Tradespersons actively performing service or making deliveries are exempt while working. Vehicles over 5,000 lbs are not permitted in residential areas at any time. Chapter 39, Β§39-4 defines a commercial vehicle as any vehicle designed for transportation of goods, excluding private passenger vehicles and recreational vehicles.
