Fairfax, VA Parking Rules: Commercial Vehicle Restrictions (2026)

A commercial vehicle is generally defined as a vehicle with a gross vehicle weight rating exceeding 12,000 pounds, a vehicle with commercial advertising exceeding specified dimensions, dump trucks, tow trucks, construction equipment, or any tractor-trailer combination. These vehicles may not be parked on residential streets or on residential property overnight.
