Subsection (b) provides exemptions for: vehicles transporting passengers or freight for compensation to the residential area, publicly owned or franchised emergency/utility vehicles on official duty, equipment for street construction or maintenance, vehicles with mechanical defects awaiting tow, and motor homes/boats/trailers. The ordinance targets commercial trucks, semi-trailers, and large work vehicles that are incompatible with residential character. Enforcement is handled by League City Police and code compliance.
Fine up to $500 per offense under Section 1-5. Vehicles may be towed at owner's expense for repeated violations.
