League City does not impose a general overnight street parking ban. Vehicles must comply with Chapter 110 parking regulations and not be abandoned (48+ hours per Texas Transportation Code). Oversized and commercial vehicles are restricted in residential areas.
League City does not have a citywide overnight parking prohibition for standard passenger vehicles. However, all vehicles must comply with Chapter 110, Article VII parking restrictions (no parking near hydrants, intersections, or in marked no-parking zones). Section 125-4.19.9 restricts commercial and oversized vehicles from residential streets at all times, including overnight. Under Texas Transportation Code Chapter 683, vehicles left on public property for more than 48 hours may be considered abandoned. Vehicles must be registered and operable. Some master-planned communities with HOAs may impose overnight parking restrictions beyond city requirements.
Abandoned vehicle (48+ hours): tow at owner's expense. Oversized/commercial vehicle overnight: fine up to $500. Parking in restricted zone: fine per court schedule.
