City Code Section 14-206(a) bars any truck with a manufacturer's rated capacity over one and one-half (1-1/2) tons, along with transports, trailers, semi-trailers, commercial trailers not motorized, farm tractors, and motor homes, from parking or being left unattended on any Louisburg street for longer than a two-hour period. The section carves out narrow exceptions for emergency refueling, emergency repair, or when loading or unloading cargo genuinely takes longer than two hours, but the vehicle must be moved promptly once that work is finished. Subsection (b) sets a separate, more generous limit for mobile homes, fifth-wheel trailers, utility trailers, travel trailers, boats, campers, and other recreational vehicles, which may not be left unattended on a city street for longer than thirty-six hours.

Subsection (c) directs the Governing Body to place and maintain the traffic control devices needed to carry out these limits, and Section 14-201 confirms the rule sits within the Standard Traffic Ordinance the City locally modified. Subsection (d) makes any violation unlawful and sets the penalty directly in the section rather than relying on the general Chapter 1 penalty: a first conviction draws a fine of not more than $100, imprisonment of not more than ten days, or both.
