No person shall stop, stand, or park a vehicle for any purpose or length of time other than for the expeditious unloading and delivery or pickup and loading of materials in any place marked as a freight curb loading zone during those hours that businesses adjacent thereto are open and doing business. In no case shall the stop for loading or unloading of materials exceed thirty (30) minutes.

Passenger curb loading zones under Sec. 32-343 carry the same business-hours, loading-only restriction with no fixed time cap. The city manager's designee designates and signs both types of zones under Sec. 32-341, and a person or business can apply for a dedicated curb loading zone permit under Sec. 32-342 for an annual fee.
