Coral Springs prohibits overnight parking of commercial and recreational vehicles on public right-of-way adjacent to or on private property zoned residential between 9:00 PM and 6:00 AM under Section 18-5. Sunday parking of these vehicles is also prohibited. General right-of-way parking is banned at all times under Section 18-4.
Section 18-5 of the Coral Springs Code prohibits any owner or person having use of a commercial or recreational vehicle from parking it between 9:00 PM and 6:00 AM, or at any time on Sundays, on a public right-of-way adjacent to or on private property zoned residential. This restriction does not apply to vehicles parked in a garage or carport that completely screens the vehicle from view with a wall, approved opaque fence, or continuous landscaping providing a complete visual screen on two sides with a permanent roof matching the primary structure. Combined with the general right-of-way parking prohibition in Section 18-4, overnight parking on residential streets is effectively prohibited for all vehicle types. Passenger vehicles must be parked in driveways or garages, and commercial/recreational vehicles face the additional 9 PM-6 AM curfew even on private property if visible.
Violations carry civil penalties up to $500 under Section 1-8.1. Commercial and recreational vehicles found in violation may be towed. Code Enforcement and Police enforce overnight parking restrictions.
