Full Breakdown
Sec. 118-149(a) limits parking in any business district of unincorporated Cobb County to two hours during the window running from 1:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., spanning the overnight hours and most of the day. The traffic engineer, with board of commissioners approval, may post signs setting an even shorter limit where curb turnover is a bigger problem, and no restriction is enforceable unless signs are actually posted per Sec. 118-141.
Violations & Fines
Exceeding the posted two-hour limit is a Code violation; enforcement follows the general penalty in Sec. 1-10, and vehicles are subject to citation.
